Petite Cherie

Type: Fruity/Floral/Musky

Notes: Pear, Peach, Musky rose, Fresh cut grass, Vanilla

Petite Cherie was a gift created by Annick Goutal for her daughter Camille in 1998. It is named after Camille's nickname for her mother, Annick. Annick said of this fragrance that it is "reminiscent of a young girl's cheek that you want to lovingly kiss".

Another timeless fragrance from Annick Goutal which speaks of her ability to create unique, beautiful perfumes which through the olfactory sense, paints a picture as an artist would on canvas.

This perfume comes in EDT, and EDP strength in the classic glass bottle, with a mint green bow and gold cap. It is also available in the Butterfly bottle as well which is frosted mint green.

Ninfeo Mio

Type: Citrus/Green/Woody
Launched: 2010
Notes: Italian lemon, citron, petitgrain, bitter orange, galbanum extract, lentisque absolute, fig leaf, lemon tree wood

Ninfeo Mio is a masterpiece created by none other than Camille Goutal and Isabelle Doyen. Together they continue the legacy of Annick Goutal in unique perfume perfection. This is a formula inspired by the legendary garden of the Hesperides. This was a garden that Camille and Isabelle fantasized about. They learned of the existence of such a garden located near Rome. The gardens of Ninfa, in which medieval ruins crowned in emerald green and all of the plants that they had imagined could still be found. Through the garden flows the Ninfeo river in which is reflected the forest bark, leaves, citrus fruit and figs. In the shade of a pine tree, Camille and Isabelle both found the fragrance they were looking to create was in the air around them. And so was born Ninfeo Mio.

All of these notes are clear and detectable as they each develop on the skin. I detect a coconut note as well which is not on the list at the Goutal site but it is clearly there on my skin. I have received nothing but compliments when I wear this fragrance. It is long lasting and can still be detected 10 hrs later. It may be wore with Nuit E Toilee as well to deeping the woody scent and the combination is very lovely. It comes in the classic signature Annick Goutal Bottle in a frosted pale green with a gold cap.

EDT Strength only

Nuit E' Toilee'

Top: Citron, Sweet orange, Peppermint
Heart: Siberian Pine, Balsam fir, Everlasting absolutes, Angelica seeds
Created by:  Camille Goutal and Isabelle Doyen

This perfume mists from this beautiful blue bottle with a burst of citron, sweet orange and peppermint. Moving nicely as a leisurely walk through the pines in the evening hours when the air is crisp and clean as the world winds down for the night and all the world seems at peace. At the Annick Goutal site, this fragrance is described as "Nature at Nightfall", "enchanted forests amid a starry night". With this fragrance Camille and Isabelle created a dream world, pristine open spaces, majestic forests with waterfalls flowing between trees, soft pebble paths and the occasional pine cone crunching under foot. Indeed with Nuit E Toilee they have created all of this in this wonderful easy to wear comfortable perfume for any day, any month, anytime perfume.

Eau de Charlotte

Type: fruity/ floral/sweet

Notes: Balck durrant buds, mimosa and cocoa in a vanilla base

Launched: 1982

Annick Goutal created this for her step daughter Charlotte. This fragrance reflected Charlotte's tastes and personality, one of which was black currant jam. This perfume reveals a spirited, twinkling, generous and romantic woman difficult to resist.

Eau de Charlotte springs from the bottle in a wondrous mist of black current. Fruity, it caresses the nose and senses rapidly joined by mimosa. As this perfume develops further I can detect lily of the valley even though it is not listed as one of the notes. Onward it goes to the heart of cocoa and finally the vanilla base.

For me this fragrance brings to mind a light, airy, delicate rose colored cashmere sweater worn over a white lacy blouse. This fragrance is masterfully blended and on me is long wearing, cozy and easy to wear.

Eau Du Ciel

Type: Floral

Notes: Linden Tea, Brazilian Rosewood, Iris, Violet Leaves

Created by Perfumer Annick Goutal, in 1985.

Annick Goutal created this fragrance to be the aroma of rain kissed earth on a summers day. For me it was the fragrance given off by the sun on fresh grass and spring flowers such as violets and iris following rain in the spring. A wonderful fragrance would be all around outside my home during these times. This fragrance captures the very essense of the moments immediately following the warm spring rains. Any time I wished to smell that, I would reach for this bottle of Eau Du Ciel and there it was to be enjoy even in the cold of winter. Annick Goutal truely was a master at creating fragrances that bring back memories of fragrant places or times. This one seems as if she captured the air and put it in the pretty bottle to be enjoyed over and over again.

Available in EDT only.

Eau de Camille

Eau de Camille
Perfumer Annick Goutal
Green/Floral

Notes: Ivy, Seringa, Cut Grass, Privet, Honeysuckle

This lovely fragrance was created in 1983 by perfumer Annick Goutal for her daughter Camille, who was 8 years old at the time. Camille, has since taken over the Annick Goutal line upon the death of her mother along with, Isabelle Doyen and have continued her work, adding to this fine line of fragrances.

I purchased this wonderful fragrance for my oldest daughter when she was 13 years old. I thought that it fit her perfectly and it did. This scent attracted me when I first sampled it at a Nordstrom counter. It reminded me of a evening of play, just as the fireflies came out, in my yard, long ago when I was a young girl. The grass had been freshly cut and the privet hedge had just been trimmed. The honeysuckle was in bloom and my cousin and I were sampling the sweet nector of those delicate flowers. This fragrance, as fragrances can, transported me back to that childhood memory. A memory of tasting that, surprising, sweet, little, droplet, from those flowers on my tongue and chasing fireflies around the grassy yard. That night was like magic to me and this fragrance brought that memory to mind immediately. Now, I'm not saying that this fragrance is only for young girls. This is a fragrance which is perfect for the young and mature alike.

Available in EDT only.

Eau d' Hadrien By Annick Goutal

Scent Type: Chypre - Fresh
Composition: Sicilian Lemon, grapefruit, citron, cypress

My personal description: Juicy sparkling lemon on a bed of cypress.

This is my go to scent. I have loved it for many years now. It is one that I wear when I want a pick me up or don't know what else I want to wear. It's great for anytime or any occasion. Especially if you suffer from migraines or don't like floral or heavy scents.  I have never had a negative comment about my fragrance when I wear this. As simple as its composition is, it is classy. A feel good fragrance to wear comfortably.

Annick Goutal recommended the layering of other fragrances of her collection right over it. There are others in her line that were created to be mixed and layered together. One example would be to layer together, Eau De Camille and Eau d' Hadrien.

Eau d' Hadrien can be purchased in two strengths, EDT and EDP.

Its staying power depends on your own body chemistry and the season. It tends to last longer in warmer weather.
